The first Cessna 210 (210 and 210A) had four seats with a Continental IO-470 engine 260 hp (190 kW). It was essentially a Cessna 182b, to which was added a retractable landing gear, trailing tail, and a new wing. In 1961 the fuselage and the wing was completely redesigned – the fuselage was wider and deeper, and a third side window was added. The wing plan form remains the same (constant 64 "chord centerline to 100 inches (2,500 mm), then straight taper to 44" according to 208 inches of centerline), but the semi-Fowler flaps (slotted and rear, movement) were extended outboard station 100 to station wing wing 122, which allowed land at a slower speed (FAA regulations state certification that a single-engine aircraft must have the fins down, no loss of speed off greater than 70 mph). To compensate for the reduction period of the ailerons, the profile of the wings was modified and extended its string. The model introduced 1964 210D 285 hp (213 kW) engine and two seats for young children, placed in the cavity containing the stern mainwheels passengers.
In 1967, introduced a model 210G cantilevered wing replacing the wing strut-braced. Its plan form changed to a constant cone according to the chord root tip. In 1970, became 210K the first complete model 6-seater, which was achieved by replacing the main sources of flat leaf springs gear bore tubular steel tread more width (allowing the tires may nest earlier in the fuselage). In 1979, the 210N model removed the folding doors which previously covered the retracted top gear: the tubular springs are retracted in shallow channels at the bottom of the fuselage and the wheels fit snugly into a depression closed at the bottom of the fuselage. Succession
Re-presents three Cessna single-engine models in 1998, who had been out production since 1986 – the Cessna 172, 182 and 206. The Columbia 350 and 400 models have been integrated into the range of Cessna single engine and redesignated as the Cessna 350 and Cessna 400. These aircraft replaced the Cessna 210 at the upper end line single-engine Cessna models.
Modifications
O & N offers a conversion of the aircraft turboprop Cessna P210N pressure known as the "Silver Eagle ". This conversion includes a review of the airframe, airframe modifications, new avionics, new paint and the installation of a Rolls-Royce Model 250 engine.
Converts 210 produces a rate of climb of 2,100 feet per minute, the cruising speed of between 200 to 210 knots and short takeoff and landing distances, while that consumes 20-28 gallons of Jet A per hour depending on the altitude and air temperature. Range with a total 147 gallons of Jet A is more than 1350 nm (1566 miles). Costs Conversion USD $ 600,000, including $ $ 350,000 for the engine, plus the cost of the used Cessna 210.
Aerospace Systems and Technology offers system ice protection for Cessna models 210, L, M and N. This system is a technology that TKS "weeping" chemicals that decrease freezing point of water and accumulate as much icing and then prevent the formation of ice. TKS panels installed on the leading edges of wings, stabilizers horizontal and vertical stabilizer. They are complemented by a deflector ring in the propellers and a bar on the windshield spray.
Introduced in November 2008, the Crown Edition enturion T210 is a refurbished aircraft with a glass cockpit and new engine along with other minor improvements. The company claims that increased load capacity, cruise speed and range.
Cessna 210 is used within Australia for a light passenger and cargo charter and aerial work. Many have suffered as a result of these harsh conditions and has been found to have extensive corrosion in the wing spar carry through the beam. Aeronautical Engineers Australia has therefore undertaken a detailed fatigue analysis to determine the limits of safety for the salvage of the luggage through, preventing replacement faces of the piece. This is now available as a generic repair CASA approved.
Variants
The Cessna 210 was manufactured in 26 model variants, the C210, C210A-D, the Centurion C210E-H and J, Turbo Centurion T210F-H and J, the Centurion II C210K-N & R, Turbo Centurion II T210K-N & R and P210N & R. The 210N, T210N (turbo) and P210N (pressure) versions were produced in greater quantity. Models rarer and more expensive were the T210R and P210R, which occurs only in small amounts in 1985-86.

210L Centurion / Centurion Turbo
