should I switch IT Jobs?
I am a network admin for a windows 2003 enviroment, but In the city I live in (Indianapolis) I only see one repair store for macs plus the apple store. How much does a tech at the apple store make?
Why be a tech? Open your own store. I opened a store in a 700 sq ft strip mall store front. It grew in less than a year, that now I have the neighboring 4 apartments and 4 techs working for me. I work on PCs and started with word of mouth. If you are good and reasonable (Not cheap) there is no reason you could not be making $50+ a year.
I do not know what you are making now but the freedom of calling the shot made it worth it for me.
By the way I was making $45yr when it was just me and now I am making $60 to $80 a yr with 4 tech and a show room.
